(2) Max finished size of Insert: A4.
(3) Supply extra 10% for potential spoilage during Packing.

| Copy and Artwork Submission (A) Transmittal should be e-mail, CD Rom or 3.5" floppy are acceptable.
(B) Please supply Press Quality Copy. All graphics, logos, special characters, special fonts and image files, plus HARD COPY for reference, colour validation and linkage of diagrams (if applicable). Colour printing uses a CMYK process please avoid RGB in designs although they can be converted, but colour changes may occur. We cannot accept responsibility for correct reproduction of an advert in these cases. Where photographs are provided these must be originals or high quality copies and labelled on the back, digital images 300dpi min related to the size of image proposed.
(C) Submission Format:
Press Quality PDF (300dpi minimum) or Adobe InDesign 3 or Quark 6.5 for PC.
MS Word for PC using 'Drawing Tool Bar' Insert Picture' and 'Text Box' commands to layout the advert as required on the page.
(D) Do not use paper clips when sending material which may need to be scanned, e.g. photos.
(E) Amendment to adverts can be carried out, so long as the advert can be unlocked, and depending upon the original program. Such work will be charged at £35.00 per hour +VAT
(F) Artwork for Cover Adverts: A4 plus bleed of 3mm all edges.

| Advertising Terms and Conditions (1) A Booking Form must be completed and supplied for a booking to be accepted. An acknowledgement email will be issued on receipt, followed by a formal Invoice acknowleding payment.
(2) Advertising content is at the sole discretion of the Editor and if considered unacceptable, for whatever reason, clarification and correction will be sought from the advertiser.
(3) The publishers cannot guarantee any specific positioning within the magazine other than the inside and outside covers. Requests will be considered as far as possible, but this depends upon the final layout, content and size of the Articles.
(4) Advertisers warrant that their advertisements do not contravene any legislation, governing the advertising of their goods or services.
(5) Cancellation:
Up to 5:00 pm on the date of the published Advertisement Booking Deadline: 100% minus £40.00 +VAT administration Fee.
After 5:00 pm on the date of the Advertisement Booking Deadline:
This will incur a fee equivalent to the cost of the advertisement booked.
(6) The Publishers will not be held liable for any actual or perceived losses due to delays in publication.
(7) Rates are subject to change without notice.
(8) Payment:
PAYMENT WITH ORDER (a formal Invoice will be issued within a few days).
Cheques - Made payable to Porto Publishing.

(9) All Rates shown on the Rate Card exclude VAT.
(10) Discounts:
"Run Advert" discount applicable if booking and full payment are made together.
Early booking discount applicable if booking and payment is made before the date specified in Publications and Deadlines box below.
Apply this discount as follows; Single Advert 5% or Run of Adverts 2.5%.
(11) Discounts do not apply to Inserts. |
